After graduating from the Northern School of Contemporary Dance, Sam worked as a freelance dancer, choreographer and teacher with different London and Kent-based dance groups. Post-performing, Sam completed a Post Graduate Certificate in Education at the Royal Academy of Dance and has taught dance full time in further and secondary education, taking on the role of Head of Dance, which brought her to live in the West Midlands. Last year, Sam returned to working as a freelance teacher and choreographer and also as part of the Critical Mass project and examining for Pearson exam board. She is super excited to be working with the Children and Young People team at One Dance UK and engaging with teachers and young people. Her favourite work of all time is Revelations by Alvin Ailey.
